After five years of operating Heartstrings out of a tiny shop in Cleveland's Little Italy, we are thrilled with our decision to relocate the business to a wonderful three story historic church on Murray Hill Road. We're still in Little Italy, just down from the Schoolhouse Building - another great venue packed with galleries and shops. The opportunity to move into such an architectural gem, while still staying in the neighborhood, was too good to pass up.
Thanks to the new venue, Heartstrings is increasingly earning a reputation as a must-visit destination for collectors of vintage merchandise and “all things quirky.” We have something for everyone, and the sheer volume of the merchandise is a surprise to most first-time visitors. It’s not unusual for customers to stay for an hour or even two.
As avid collectors ourselves, Heartstrings is our ideal vision of recycling. We enjoy sharing ideas for reusing antique objects in new and interesting ways and explaining the history of the more unusual merchandise. Casual shoppers who enjoy “the eclectic and unique” as well as serious collectors of vintage objects will love browsing at Heartstrings!
